I'm sure you already know this that the fountain across the steps is nicknamed 'the Boat' shapes like the sinking boat and it is tradition to drink the water from this fountain.. I passed by this area many times and not once did I do that.. hell, no! ;)
ReplyDeleteYup, I know it's knowned as the Boat but didn't know that it's a tradition to drink the water from the fountain. Don't recall seeing anyone rushing to do it; and like you, I won't do it either, haha! In fact, I'm still not used to drinking tap water in hotels, let alone in public places like this :-S
DeleteHmm.. Trevi Fountain coin toss. Did you do that? Haha. Rindu Rome and coloseo and semua lah.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I did. Every cent counts esp. in Rome, haha! Despite that, I have returned to Rome once more since then ;-)
Deletehehehe yes! every cent counts esp in UK kot. haha. When I left Rome Fiumcino to London kan, duit I tinggal 10 cent. hehehe... Teringat "When in Rome" bila tengok your pictures.
ReplyDeleteKat Venice kan, unknown to me, I should have validated my ticket before boarding the train. So I kena denda kat situ! Hmmm... Sebab the yellow machine tu I tak nampak. Melayang 5 Euro. Remember, every cent counts. Sob sob...
Ohh yes! You have to validate your ticket before boarding a train in Italy. I didn't take any train from Venice though. Travelled into Venice from Milan by train, and then flew out of Venice. It was quite nice taking a boat from San Marco to the airport.
