Hungary: A Postcard from Budapest

This is just another postcard entry.

The postcard shows the first permanent bridge that was built across River Danube to connect Buda and Pest, both of which make up the capital of Hungary, Budapest. Completed in 1849, the bridge is still very much in use to this very day.

    1. Hi Farah, yup! Budapest really surprised me with the beauty of her architecture. I just love the city and do regret going there just for a day trip from Vienna by train. I did manage to cover most of the interesting places there but I felt that it was a bit too rushed. Should have stayed there overnight, at least.

If you have the chance to visit the city, do go! I highly recommend it :-)
